Sendb00ks Metamorphoses: All Volumes — Six Artist Editions of Ovid

Claire de Rouen is pleased to present the complete first volume of Sendb00ks' five-year publishing project dedicated to Ovid's Metamorphoses.

Bringing together all six editions of Books I–III, the set features an introduction by Gemma Janes and Bianca Pozzi, with each book housed in a different artist-designed sleeve by Tali Lennox, Elsa Rouy, Jan Melka, Okiki Akinfe, Mathilde Albouy and Inès di Folco Jemni.

The six artists spent the early summer of 2026 at Rocca Sinibalda, a castle in the hills of Lazio whose frescoed walls have been populated by Ovidian figures since sometime before 1555. Each sleeve offers a distinct response to the same ancient text, forming a collective record of that summer's encounter with a poem defined by transformation.

The complete set brings all six responses together for the first time and marks the beginning of a five-year Sendb00ks project spanning Ovid's fifteen books.
