The Great Unreal is a photobook by Swiss artists Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs that examines the construction of photographic reality through staged scenes, manipulated landscapes, and deliberately ambiguous imagery. Produced during a long road trip across the United States, the project uses travel as both subject and method, while constantly questioning the credibility of what is being seen.
