Visionaire 47: Taste is a limited-edition object published by Visionaire in collaboration with International Flavours & Fragrances (IFF), extending the magazine’s experimental format into the sensory domain of taste. Produced in a numbered edition, it comes housed in a vinyl presentation box containing a booklet and sealed “taste strips.” 

Instead of conventional editorial content, the issue translates visual culture into edible form. Each contributor—artists, photographers, chefs, and designers—was assigned a specific flavour interpretation, developed by IFF’s flavourists and embedded into dissolvable strips designed to be placed on the tongue. Contributors include figures such as Jenny Holzer, Yoko Ono, Bruce Weber, Thomas Demand, and others, each linked to distinct conceptual tastes ranging from intimate and nostalgic to synthetic or abstract.
